Super 8s and Subways

Our Star Maps Tour was really fun! Usually we drive through the States, but this time we drove there and back through Northern Ontario. It’s a rite a passage for Canadian bands to go that route and now we’ve done it. Guess we’re a real band now. One thing we learned this time is that using Hotwire.com is basically a quick way and easy way to book at a Super 8. We stayed at three of them across Ontario and they certainly are hotel rooms. After the show in Thunder Bay we stayed up watching the new Jaco Pastorius documentary. Movie nights are crucial for maintaining morale on the road.
